Just About Me
Born in 1991 in (South) Korea, came to US back in 2007.
(So that makes me an American, right?)
-
FAQ About Me
- 1. Are you from North or South (Korea)?
- Definitely
NorthSouth Korea. Even for myself, I have never heard of someone coming from North honestly. - 2. When you speak in English, do you think in Korean?
- What the heck guys... I think like American. (Bilingual problems I guess)
Anyways...
Started high school in 2007 as a Freshman, graduated in 2011. (Go Cardinals!)
Honestly had no plan for higher education, so started going to a local college before I transferred to UT Arlington in 2012.
My majors was Aerospace Engineering. Although I didn't finish. Here's why.
In 2016, I joined US Army as an Utilities Equipment Repairer. Sounds fancy, right? I was just an AC technician.
Anyways, I came back to school, picked back up where I left, until I met my old friend who happened to be in my town working on his pilot certificate.
That was cool. And you know what? It would be better if I could fly an airplane instead of building one, so why not go for a pilot certificate?
So yeah, I decided to take a big turn in my career, and signed up to the flight school my friend was going.
And that's just about it! Where am I now? Now I fly for a regional airline, hoping to land myself in a major airline sooner or later!.
As a Pilot
Started flying back in 2018. Before than I was a "Professional Student".
My very first flight (not counting the time I flew as a passenger of course) was back in May 9th, 2018 in the N52262.
Then my first solo flight took in place in June 20th, 2018!
In November 4th, 2018, I completed my Private Pilot Checkride...
Followed by June 208, 2019, I completed my Instrument Rating...
Then in October 2nd, 2020, I completed my Commercial Pilot, Airplane Single Engine Land...
Followed by June 24th, 2021, I completed my Certified Flight Instructor Airplane...
Then in September 16th, 2021, I completed my Commercial Pilot, Airplane Multi-Engine Land...
Followed by January 13th, 2022, I completed my Multi-Engine Instructor...
Then finally in March 11th, 2022, I completed my Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Rating...

Back to the TopAs a Hobbyist
Oh boy, VIDEO GAMES! That's for sure. Other than that, I have couple other hobbies.
Clearly you can tell coding is also my hobby; I mean, if it wasn't, why would I built this website for, right?.
I mainly like to code for firmwares (such as Arduino and other micro-controllers that are similar to it) but I am always open to try new codings such as this!
Other than that, I do like to build my own circuit board to tinker with. I should write about that sometimes.
Model building has been my hobby since 2021, but sadly I just can't find a good time to work on them. At least I have finished one so far!
Last but not least, my lastest interest; camping!
